Eclipse Content Assist without Ctrl + Space

Tired of pressing CTRL + SPACE to get Content Assist in Eclipse?

Tired of pressing CTRL + SPACE to get Content Assist in Eclipse? You can set Eclipse to show Content Assist automatically. How to do that? Open Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Editor -> Content Assist and set:

Auto activation delay: for example 40 milliseconds

Auto activation triggers for Java:

._abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

And now whenever you start typing something in Java code, Content Assist will pop up automatically.

Btw. it takes some time before you get used to it, but once you do, your efficiency will skyrocket. Also after some time you will notice that instead pressing CTRL + SPACE to show Content Assist window, you will start pressing ESCAPE to kill it.
